Royal Navy Committal Urn: ?made in England by hand to the exact standard specified by the Ministry of Defence for the sea committal of military personnel.
These wooden urns are individually handmade in Devon, England.
Dimensions: L – 32cm, D – 23cm, H – 24cm
They have a simple finish in line with the specification, the lid is screwed into place to provide a more secure impact on contact with the water. They have holes and a heavy weight to ensure faster submersion.
NOTE: The MoD have recently changed the specification, we have been in discussion with them and are now able to make the new specification. If you are in possession of the new specification, you will note that the image of our urn has less holes on the top (and bottom) however the design has been updated to reflect the new specification.
These urns are now made to order and the lead time for these urns is five to eight weeks. If one is required urgently please let us know and we will do our best.
They are made to the current Ministry of Defence specification. However the the Royal Navy are unable to endorse them.
