    There is no death
    Only a change of worlds.

I give you this one thought to keep
I am with you still ~~I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints in snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
    Iam the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
    Iam the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
Iam the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone~~
Iam with you still~in each new dawn.

To my Great-Grandad, What do I say, without knowing it you helped me through some of my darkest years. The ships you spent so much love and time building I carried around with me everywhere I lived, I spent day after day staring at the detail and remembering the house and grandparents I used to visit so often. They were a beacon in the dark. You’re with great nan now and I don’t doubt for a second all the happier to be re-united, give her a kiss for me please, I will never forget kissing her cheek. It was like… Read more »

To spend one more day at yours grandad, laughing, reminiscing and having our dinner from greenhalghes (meat Pies aren’t the same you’d say) you checking out the toys I’d brought round for the kids to play with, chey taking selfies with you with the funny filters, repeating ourselves over and over because you made out you’d not heard us(Just to let you know we knew you did grandad) “are we having a bottle jan” so mum would go shop and get a bottle or 2 of medicine you’d call it, I’m missing days like this already, We had you to… Read more »

`I’ve had my share of gladness
    I’ve watched my children grow
But one thing has remained unchanged,
    Somehow, I hope you know…

    ‘Goodbyes are not forever,
    Goodbyes are not the end,
They simply mean I’ll miss you,
    Until we meet again’

You were a social butterfly and left smiles on people’s faces wherever you went. Full of wisdom and knowledge, you were truly one of a kind.

We are blessed to have you as our Grandad.

All my love, forever and always Kirsty, David, Renae, Braydon & Jacob. XxXxXx
