As an alternative to National Direct Cremation we offer a Local Direct Cremation which is similar to a National Direct Cremation but has the benefit of taking place at your local crematorium. It means you get the use their Garden of Remembrance for local Ashes Scattering at no extra cost. That means you have somewhere to visit to mourn and can pay for a simple memorial plaque or an entry in the Book of Remembrance.

Alternatively our cheapest attended funeral is the Simple Intimate Service. This takes place in the quiet times before the crematorium gets busy. The number of mourners are restricted to 20 but music is played and it is much cheaper that a full funeral. It can cost as little as £1200-£1500 -- the price depends on the choice of Crematorium. As with all Memorialise funerals everything is included: Cremation, Funeral Director Fees, Coffin and Hearse all included in the price and nothing else to pay.

Our Full Service Funeral is the top-of-the-range, but it still costs 33% less than other funeral directors. Memorialise offers more choices and better service with full funeral director support and four bearers. The fully inclusive price for this full service funeral is usually between £2400 and £2600 inclusive of funeral director and crematorium charges.

That means crematorium costs, funeral service costs, funeral director costs and an option to choose from the UK's widest selection of coffins and hearses all included and represents top quality service at unbeatable value.

If the Coroner is not involved there is a potential legal requirement to pay the Health Service £82 for statutory Doctor's Fees. If you book we will verify whether this payment is required and advise you.

Over a certain height and weight a "bariatric" coffin may be required which incurs additional costs for the coffin and handling. We will advise you as soon as we know if "oversize" costs will be incurred.

A Home or Care Home Collection means that many more collection, preparation and admin costs will be incurred so in common with other Funeral Directors Memorialise makes an extra charge of £250 for home collection.
